LORI O'BRYANT

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Lori joined Camp Hendon in January of 2015 as our first paid employee. She has taken a tremendous amount of the load of running this organization from formerly the all-volunteer staff.

For the 25 years before she joined our team, she worked with The Endocrine and Diabetes Center with Drs. Fred Williams, Mary Self and Lara Fakunle, where her job title was “Give it to Lori, she’ll get it done.” This attitude and skill set has been invaluable to Camp Hendon.

Lori and her husband Tim live in Marysville, IN with their black lab Sammie. Their son Charlie is a Registered Nurse at Norton's ER and volunteer camp counselor.

ADAM JOHNSON

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Adam joined the Camp Hendon team at the beginning of 2024. Prior to joining the Camp team, Adam spent 12 years with the YMCA. Program development/management and aquatics has been much of his career.

Adam spent a lot of energy at the Oldham County YMCA improving the outdoor space for sustainable education. He also has a solid camping background. He spent 6 years as a counselor for the Boy Scouts, including a summer at National Camp School. If Adam has any free time, you can usually find him on the disc golf course.

Adam currently lives in Louisville with his wife, Sarah, and their 3 children.
