Many organizations are dedicated to finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes, but few offer support in the interim. Camp Hendon provides life-altering experiences, without the promise of a cure but with the guarantee of an experience that makes diabetes manageable until that cure is found.

Camp Hendon's actual cost per camper for a week of camp is over $1,700. 
Over 75% of our revenues come from charitable giving. Community and individual support allow us to only charge $550 per camp and provide camperships to children with the greatest financial needs. 
Over 30% of our campers receive financial aid each summer, and we have never turned a child away due to financial hardship.
