How old does my child have to be to attend camp?
Children with diabetes ages 8-17 are eligible to participate in Camp Hendon.
How do I register a camper?
You can register online in a "phased application" process.
*Some forms require you to print and obtain a physician signature, and then fax them back to camp. Each camper's complete file is medically reviewed for acceptance. Campers are admitted on a first-completion basis. To receive the early application discount, you will need to have a 100% completed application and all forms submitted by the priority deadline.
Do I have to register my child online?

How do you decide who to accept?
Your child will be accepted if we still have room and there are no significant behavioral or medical factors that would preclude acceptance.
What will my camper learn?
Since the goal is life-long care, just a few of the things your camper might learn depending on their age and readiness are:
